RUNNERS – Runners from the Burlington Running Room marathon clinic were joined Sunday by runners from both the Guelph and Oakville Running Rooms in a practice run for the Around the Bay Road

There’s no mistaking the increase in runners tackling parts of the Around the Bay Road Race route in their practice runs. Many take to the venerable Heartbreak Hill on Valley Inn Road. The ominous hill is back in the race after construction of a new train bridge prevented it from being part of the route for the last two editions of the race. This year, the Around the Bay 30K Road Race, which is the oldest road race in North America and a fundraiser for St. Joseph’s Healthcare, is on Sunday, March 26. Online registration ends March 12.
