Steelheads are celebrating 10 years of Steelheads hockey with multiple celebrations throughout the year to commemorate the milestone. This will include highlighting the history of the team, the organization’s greatest moments, and feature Steelheads players from the past decade.

Kopi Luwak Tasting at Beanwise

Kopi Luwak coffee comes from beans that have been consumed and excreted by the Asian Palm Civet, a ferret-like animal found in the forests of Sumatra. During the Dutch occupation of Indonesia in the early 1700s, local farmers were forbidden from harvesting coffee cherries for their own consumption so they began picking, cleaning, and roasting the digested beans from civet droppings. Soon the Dutch caught on and began cherishing the civet coffee for its smooth, chocolaty profile.
