Happy Friday, friends! We made it – I knew we would. Now that it is almost clock out time, here’s a list of events happening throughout our local communities to help you kick start your weekend plans. Have fun exploring and don’t forget to tag me (@trsmulders) in your adventures – I want to see what you get up to this weekend.
Burlington
On Sunday, January 13th at 4:30 p.m. join Walk Off The Earth at Civic Square for a memorial tribute to Mike Taylor. Bundle up, bring a candle and celebrate one talented musician along with community members, fans and other local musicians.
Dundas
It may be a bit chilly this weekend, but there’s no need to hibernate the days away. Put on your winter jacket and walk along the streets of beautiful downtown Dundas. Shop at local family stores, and then warm up with a latte and something sweet at Detour Coffee.
Hamilton
Lace up your walking shoes, or your winter boots, and head to James Street for Art Crawl. Stop in at the galleries and check out the local artists, shop at new-to-you stores, and then pop in at a Bar Sazerac, a New Orleans-inspired cocktail bar for one tasty drink. Happy Crawlin’!
Get ready to cheer for our Hamilton Bulldogs on Saturday, January 12th as they go nose to tail against the Kingston Frontenacs. Puck drops at 7 p.m. See you there!
