The Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology is calling all young wizards and witches for a special event it has planned for Oct. 28.
During the Wizarding Workshop, the steam museum woodshed will be transformed into a school for young wizards and witches. Kids ages six to 12 will get to perform “magical” science experiments, create potions and make their own wand and wizard robes.
Participants will also have a chance to ride the “Hogwarts Express” train and take a guided tour of the museum.
The Wizarding Workshop runs from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The museum is located at 900 Woodward Ave. Cost is $50; call 905-546-4797 to register.
