Hello September!
September is finally here which means it’s back to school season and the beginning of fall fairs! Team Smulders has put a list together of every fair and festival happening this September for you to check out.
Paris Fair
When: September 1st – 5th
Where: Paris Fairground, Paris, ON
Welcome to the Paris Fair. This 5-day fair has plenty to do and all are included in free gate admission. Check out Down on the Farm, where you can meet cute farm animals such as alpacas, piglets, and cows, and where you can check out farm tractors and see how to milk a cow! There are also many fun contests you can enter and watch such as the Talent Show. With a variety or entertainment options and food trucks, this fair is one to check out.

Canada’s Largest Ribfest
When: September 2nd – 5th
Where: Spencer Smith Park, Burlington, ON
Canada’s Largest Ribfest is back and better than ever! There are dozen of games for kids to enjoy including face painting, midway rides, and carnival games. With a variety of bands, food trucks, and a beautiful waterfront walk, this festival is one to check out!

Cambridge Fall Fair
When: September 8th – 11th
Where: Dickson Park, Cambridge, ON
Come together as a community at The Cambridge Fair! This fair offers 4 days of non-stop fun and games with amazing musical guests. The activities in the park include vendor items, services, food, and fun with shows for all ages!

West Niagara Fair
When: September 9th – 11th
Where: 7402 Mud St. W., Grimsby
This outdoor event includes rides, music, and shows for all ages. This year the West Niagara Fair is proud to present the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Musical Ride. With a livestock building, outdoor riding rings, marketplace buildings, and derbies, there is so much to do at this fall fair! Check out the beer tents, cooking demos, and talent show while visiting.

The Six Nations Fall Fair and Powwow
When: September 9th – 11th
Where: 1738 Fourth Line, Ohsweken
This fun fall fair is full of activities, shows, and rides for all ages! Some of the events include a baby and tot show, BINGO, a car and bike show, a pet show, and a smoke dance competition. This fair is also a drug and alcohol-free event featuring multiple food vendors, midway rides, and a Miss Six Nations Ambassador Competition.

2022 Supercrawl
When: September 9th – 12th
Where: James St N., Hamilton, ON
Supercrawl features many art and food vendors alongside multiple musical acts. This festival is a great way to explore local talent! Features music from Blind Mule, Tallies, and Nuela Charles, and talk from Denise Davy, Michael Barclay, and Charlie Angus. Events also include foam parties and fashion shows!

Dundas Artisan Market
When: September 11th
Where: Dundas Driving Park
Welcome back, Dundas Artisan Market! After two years of lockdown, they are back and better than ever. This family-friendly market includes a children’s play area, splash pad, and painting classes. With vendors for paintings, pottery, woodwork, jewelry, garden art, and photography, there is so much to see and do. Come on out and support local artists.

Binbrook Fair
When: September 15th – 18th
Where: Binbrook, ON
The Binbrook Fair features magic shows, horse shows, science experiments, and rodeos! Check out their fun midway rides, carnival games, vendor buildings, and food trucks. The Binbrook Fair also includes a pet show, baby show, and book cover contests.

Fergus Fall Fair
When: September 16th – 18th
Where: 550 Belsyde Ave., Fergus, ON
While agriculture is still the focus of the fair, it also includes truck and tractor pulls, handicraft and food exhibits, a midway, entertainment, and so much more! The Fergus Fair is a showcase of talent among the Centre Wellington community.

St. George Apple Festival
When: September 17th – 18th
Where: Main St., St. George, Flamborough
Enjoy a rural experience at the St. George Apple Festival! This free family festival features over 120 vendors that showcase local farmers, artisans, and unique home decor, antiques, jewelry, and word works! Come and check out the fresh flowers, produce, and local bands. Enjoy this event wth the aroma of crisp, and ripe apples in contrast with the sweetness of candied apples!

Wainfleet Fall Fair
When: September 22nd – 24th
Where: 31943 Park St., Wainfleet
The Wainfleet Fall Fair is full of amazingly fun events and exhibits. Check out the tractor and truck pulls, the baby show, the pumpkin carving contest, and the demolition derby. You can also explore amazing vendors that showcase food, crafts, photography, fresh flowers, needlework, and produce.

Ancaster Fair

The Ancaster Fair is a family fun event that showcases local vendors. check out the home craft exhibit which features canning, baking, and crafts! They even offer classes! The fair also has fun shows including the baby show, demolition derby, hot sauce competition, and fair yard display competition.

Milton Fall Fair

The Milton Fall Fair features a fun car show, local vendors, food trucks, and entertainment! This year, watch magic shows, exotic animal shows, and Irish dancing. Get your face painted, taste some local beer and check out local art.

Beer Fest Battle: Ottawa vs. Hamilton
When: September 24th
Where: Society Clubhouse, Toronto, ON
Welcome to the BEER BATTLE! At each festival, different regions will be showcased and different beers will be poured for you to try! Try them all and vote on your faves! You never know which 2 towns we’ll feature next! This September Hamilton will be showcased. Come out and try the local beer, and vote to support your city.

Family Fun Day: Nature Rocks
When: September 24th
Where: Royal Botanical Gardens, Hamilton, ON
Nature is your canvas with this art-themed family event! Join us for a hike through the woods as we learn about the rocks and minerals beneath our feet, then use that knowledge to create our own paint using natural ingredients. Create a pocket painting inspired by RBG’s natural landscape using a mix of conventional paints and natural pigments.

150th Caledonia Fair
When: September 29th – October 3rd
Where: Caledonia, ON
Every year at the fairgrounds, we combine the traditions of the country fair – livestock shows, home crafts, food, and the midway – with continuous entertainment to make Caledonia Fair a perfect Autumn outing for the entire family.
From homemade pie to heavy horses – we have it all for one low admission.
