Dundas Peak
Dundas Peak is one of the city’s most popular lookouts! This 20-minute hike from Tew Falls will lead you to a beautiful fall canopy with an amazing view of the Spencer Gorge and Spencer Creek. Check online before you visit as this spot is extremely popular during this time of year.
Spencer Gorge Conservation Area
Spencer Gorge Conservation is the biggest park connected to Webster Falls. Webster Falls is one of the most visited and photographed waterfalls in the area. It is known for its charm and the beautiful trail that leads to it. Here, you can view the most beautiful fall colours.
Smokey Hollow Bruce Trail
Located in Waterdown, this amazing trail will lead you to the beautiful Smokey Hollow Falls and will connect you to portions of the Bruce Trail. You can walk through forested trails that fall along a flowing stream surrounded by beautiful fall foliage.
The Devil’s Punchbowl
This popular spot is breathtaking, especially with the magic of fall. The punch bowl is toted as one of the Niagara Escarpment’s most amazing sights! You can check out the Dofasco 2000 Trail, an 11.5km trail through upper Stoney Creek that features a long boardwalk through Vinemount Swamp Forest. Experience fall and all its beauty through this amazing and unforgettable spot.
The Chedoke Radial Tail
This simple trail goes from west of the Chedoke Golf Course up to the top of the escarpment at Scenic Drive. Not only can you catch all the fall colours as you walk in the forest along the trail, but you can also see the tree canopy as you walk back along the top. This trail loops all around, giving you a 360 view of all the colours!
