March Break in The GTA
We’ve been welcomed to the start of March break by snow, lots and lots of snow! It’s beautiful to look at, fun to play in, and is the perfect excuse to have hot chocolate.
Enjoy fun in the snow over the weekend because the week of March break will be snowless and surprisingly mild, yes, Hamilton is reaching 15 degrees on Thursday!

Bulldogs Hockey!
Watch the Hamilton Bulldogs and Oshawa Generals game on March 14th at Tim Hortons Field! Outdoors on the first day of March Break promises to be a game to remember. The game time is at 7 p.m. and tickets start at $25.
Disney on Ice
Get ready for the Mickey’s Search Party when Disney on Ice comes to FirstOntario Centre from March 17th – 20th for nine performances!

Spring Tide
Hamilton’s annual Spring Tide Bulb Show is now in full bloom at the Gage Park Greenhouse! Stop by and smell the spring flowers at this free show daily from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. until March 20th.
Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum
Explore a unique collection of almost 50 aircraft – all dedicated to Canada’s rich military aviation history from the Second World War to the current day. You can even book a flight into history as some of the aircraft still fly.
The Van Gogh Experienced
Check out this immersive experience at Hamilton Convention Centre by Carmen’s until April 2nd. Open Wednesday to Sunday, check out more than 300 of Van Gogh’s artworks through projection technology.
Hamilton Children’s Museum
Enjoy a free pop-up Wizarding Week Workshop at the museum! Runs from March 14th – 18th from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Royal Botanical Gardens
Under the Canopy is on now! Explore the animals of the world’s major rainforests and find out how your life connects to its ecosystem. This is a ticketed event and runs until May 1st.

Treetop Trekking
Treewalk Village is open and running during March Break with two-hour sessions available. Explore tree house village at Binbrook Conservation Area. Climb from tree house to tree house through eight-foot-tall hammocks, nets, and wood bridges. Descent to the ground on slides, play on the treewee obstacle courses, and other forest games. Open Thursday to Sunday!
Niagara Falls!
There are many things to do and explore at Niagara Falls this March break!
- Mad Science at the Museum runs from March 15th to 18th.
- Little Inventors March Break Workshop at the Niagara PArks Power Station runs from March 14th – 18th.
Dinosaur Drive-Thru
Lifelike dinosaurs have escaped their enclosers and are back at Bingemans this Spring. This time, the park has gotten bigger and better including a long journey through an authentic park setting. Re-discover the era lost to time with even more roaring dinosaurs of Jurassic size, some as big as 30 feet! From March 11th – April 3rd.
